Brant still present. Full adult. Quite tame. Was sitting on footpath just north of the described parking area. Almost let a jogger run by it. Eventually stood up revealing intact halluxes and unbanded legs, then flew to water with its partner, a slightly leucistic giant Canada Goose. Great light for photographing an extremely rare bird in Colorado (Atlantic Brant). Thanks to Scott Baron for finding and Laura Steadman for updating. CR24 is reached from Boyd Lake Rd. It is an unsigned dirt road that appears private but I am told that it is publicly accessible.
