probably other birds we missed due to terrible lighting conditions &
concentrating on the loon (Thayer's Gull?)
[Best access to the north end of res is via the foot-traffic-only dirt two-lane
road that goes north from the bathroom at the north end of the road that runs
n-s along the east side of the res]
