So, my son and I were finally able to spot the Brant earlier this week in
Redstone park, after seven fruitless trips. Today, my son and I took a quick
swing through Chatfield to see what was happening.

Right as we were leaving the south entrance of the park, we both said at the
same time...there is the brant. Sure enough he was just hanging out near the
prairie dog hills, and then flew towards the marina as we drove away. If he
shows up in my back yard tonight, we are formally adopting him.

We got a good photo of him the other day squawking at a goose. It is in our
gallery at www.cheezwhizdom.com

Best,

Matt and Carson Crooks, Littleton.
