I have been in contact with a non-birder cyclist who about a week ago saw a
*possible* Greater Roadrunner near the Dakota Hogback (aka Dinosaur Ridge)
HawkWatch site. The description was weak, "brownish bird with a funny shape
like a roadrunner pecking at the rocks."

That's not much to go on, but there will be hawk watchers in the area who
will no doubt
keep a eye to the ground as well as the sky.

"Who knows, could be, something's coming, something..."
With apologies to West Side Story.
