Bill (Mr. Chico) Maynard and I were are Chico Basin Ranch this morning.  On the
Pueblo side, at the Headquarter Willows, there was a YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER.
A female Blackpoll Warbler was at Rose Pond.  One Northern Waterthrush was
singing at the Headquarters and another one at Rose Pond.  The Least Bittern
also continues in the marsh, in the eastern part of Rose Pond.  Shorebirds
today at Rose Pond (a Long-billed Curlew) and (Lesser Yellowlegs and Wilson's
Phalarope) at the Headquarter's Pond.  On the El Paso County side, a female
Townsend's Warbler was the best thing, we could find.  Nick Moore said, a male
Tennessee Warbler was singing earlier in the morning, at the banding station
area.  I believe, an Alder Flycatcher was banded today, perhaps the one from
yesterday.  A Red-headed Woodpecker continues north of the Casita, in El Paso
County.
