We saw one Baird’s Sparrow this morning around 9:30 am on the north side of Drennan Road, about 1/4 to 1/2 mile west of Hemmingway. About 15 minutes later, we saw another one farther west, where there is a large patch of tall weeds on the south side of Drennan Rd. We also saw Cassins’s Kingbirds in that area. Both Hemmingway and Drennan had a lot of birds this morning! Cecile Lee Elbert, CO
