On the way to the DMV today, I saw that there was a huge flock of geese on
the fairgrounds lake, including many white geese. After closer inspection,
most of the white geese were Snow Geese, including a couple of blue morphs.
I was able to find a handful of Ross's Geese, and one Greater
White-fronted Goose. There were also some Snow/Canada or Snow/Cackling
hybrids (not so sure on the hybrids, but they did have the grin patch of
the snow goose). Some great birding not far from home!
