Hi All,
At least one male BARROW'S GOLDENEYE continues on the South Platte River
between 78th and 88th Avenues almost directly across the river from the water
tanks (towers). Other noteworthy birds included a lone Yellow-rumped Warbler
and a pair of Red-breasted Mergansers on the fenced in pond (fish hatchery?)
behind a tall, chain-link fence.
While birding in the area, I "bumped into" the Boulder Bird Club who reported a
HARRIS' SPARROW near the parking lot at 78th Ave minutes earlier. I tried to
re-find it, but no luck.
