--Sagebrush Sparrows were reported by Blackburn on LN 6 on April 4.

BENT COUNTY:
--A Piping Plover was reported by Duane Nelson at John Martin Reservoir on
April 9.

BOULDER COUNTY:
--On April 3, Floyd reported Eastern and Black Phoebe at 75th St Bridge
over Boulder Creek.  On April 4, Steadman reported Eastern Phoebe and Black
Phoebe at 75th St Bridge over Boulder Creek.  On April 5, Minner-Lee
reported both Eastern and Black Phoebe at 75th St Bridge over Boulder
Creek.  On April 6, Dowell reported Eastern Phoebe and Black Phoebe at 75th
St Bridge over Boulder Creek.  On April 9, Victoria Wheeler reported Black
Phoebe at 75th St Bridge over Boulder Creek.  On April 11, Hundertmark and
Vanderpoel reported Black Phoebe at 75th St Bridge over Boulder Creek.
--On April 8, Starace reported a pair of Canyon Wrens at Rabbit Mountain.

CHAFFEE COUNTY:
--An Eastern Phoebe was reported by Michael O'Brien at Sands Lake SWA on
April 11.

DOUGLAS COUNTY:
--An Eastern Phoebe was reported by Kellner at Plum Creek Picnic Area at
Chatfield SP on March 28 and March 29.  On March 30, Gen Moore reported
Eastern Phoebe at Plum Creek Delta on March 30.  On April 2, Eastern Phoebe
was reported  by Matt Crooks on Douglas county side of Chatfield.  On April
3, Chavez reported Eastern Phoebe at Plum Creek Delta at Chatfield.  On
April 4, Bob Spencer reported Eastern Phoebe at Plum Creek bridge at
Chatfield.  On April 5, Kellner reported Eastern Phoebe at Plum Creek Delta
at Chatfield.  On April 9, Norm Lewis reported Eastern Phoebe at Phoebe
Bridge at Chatfield.
--4 Black Rosy-FInches were reported by Glynn on Rampart Range Rd at Hwy 67
on April 5.

EL PASO COUNTY:
--On March 31, Goff reported 2 Mountain Plovers on Squirrel Creek Rd across
from red brick ruins of a school.  On April 2, Rick Taylor reported
Mountain Plover about 500 ft N of red brick school ruins at NW corner of
Squirrel Creek Road and Squirrel Creek Place.  On April 5, Matt Clark
reported 2 Mountain Plovers at Squirrel Creek Road N of Squirrel Creek
Place.
--On April 2, Koehn reported 2 Mountain Plovers N of Hanover Road about .7
miles E of Milne Road.
--On April 2, Peterson reported Mountain Plover and 4 Chestnut-collared
Longspurs on Drennan Road.
--On April 3, Goff reported Long-tailed Duck at Big Johnson.
--On April 4, Drummond reported 4 Mountain Plovers at the intersection of
Squirrel Creek Road and S Ellicott Hwy.  On April 5, Matt Clark reported 5
Mountain Plovers at Squirrel Creek Road and S Ellicott Hwy.  On April 6, T.
Ryan reported 3 Mountain Plovers at Squirrel Creek Road and S Ellicott Hwy.
--On April 8, Tyler Stuart reported Mountain Plover at Big Johnson.
--On April 11, Drummond reported a f EASTERN TOWHEE at Chico Basin Ranch
(fee area) by the banding station.

GARFIELD COUNTY:
--A Canyon Wren was reported by Marry Harris outside of Carbondale off Hwy
82 below Mushroom Rock on April 10.

JEFFERSON COUNTY:
--2 Eastern Phoebe were reported by Burger at Swimbeach at Chatfield Sp on
April 7.  On April 8, Suddjian reported Eastern Phoebe and 3 Rusty
Blackbirds at Deercreek inlet.
--On April 7, Kibbe reported Eastern Phoebe upstream from Kingfisher Bridge
at Chatfield SP.  On April 10, Chavez reported 2 Eastern Phoebe upstream
from Kingfisher Bridge at Chatfield SP.
--On April 7, Somershoe reported a pair of Williamson's Sapsucker at
Genessee Park.  On April 10, Chavez refound the WIlliamson's Sapsucker pair
at Genessee Mountain Park.

KIT CARSON COUNTY:
--A ZONE-TAILED HAWK was reported by Riley and Heather Morris in Burlington
on April 8.  It was loosely associating with Turkey Vultures.

LAKE COUNTY:
--A Long-tailed Duck was reported by Tom Johnson at Crystal Lake on April 5.

LARIMER COUNTY:
--On April 3, Hess and others reported 2 Long-tailed Ducks at the Walmart
Pond.  On April 4, Zabel reported 2 Long-tailed Ducks at Walmart Pond.  On
April 4, Hundertmark reported Long-tailed Duck at Walmart Pond.  On April
6, Griffin reported 2 Long-tailed Ducks at Walmart Pond.  On April 7,
Minner-Lee reported 2 Long-tailed Ducks at Walmart Pond.  On April 8, Doyle
reported 3 Long-tailed Ducks (2m, 1f) at the Walmart Pond.  The location is
at Harmony and I-25.  On April 9, Komar reported 3 Long-tailed Ducks at the
Walmart Pond.  On April 10, Joan Coxe reported 2 Long-tailed Ducks at
Walmart Pond.  On April 11, Beauchamp reported 3 Long-tailed Ducks at
Walmart Pond.
--On April 4 at Larimer County Landfill, Komar reported 2 Thayer's Gulls (1
ad, 1 juv)  and 1 ad Lesser Black-backed Gull.
--On April 5, Komar reported 3 Thayer's Gulls at Lake Loveland.
--On April 5, Komar reported Lesser Black-backed Gull at Equalizer Lake.

MESA COUNTY:
--A Black Phoebe was reported by Woodward on 525 - 557 Dike Road, Grand
Junction on April 7.

MONTROSE COUNTY:
--A Pacific Loon was reported by Dexter on W 5th Ave just W of Nucla about
1/2 east of sewer lagoons on the N side of Road on April 4.  On April 5,
Dexter reported that the Pacific Loon continues.  On April 8, Dexter
reported a Black Phoebe at the loon pond.
--A Broad-winged Hawk was reported by Dexter flying over Nucla on 4 April.

OTERO COUNTY:
--A Carolina Wren was reported by Dowell at Higbee Cemetery and environs on
April 5.

OURAY COUNTY:
--A Black Phoebe was reported by Kent Nelson about 50 yards downsgtrem from
Bill Creek SWA on April 3.

PARK COUNTY:
--A Barrow's Goldeneye was reported by Winkler at Eleven Mile Reservoir on
April 5.

PUEBLO COUNTY:
--On April 5, Percival reported that Pearl Sandstrom-Smith and Cliff Smith
found a m Vermilion Flycatcher at Pueblo Reservoir.  The flycatcher has
been moving around the area.  Brandon will post in the morning if the
Vermilion Flycatcher is still around on Monday.

RIO GRANDE COUNTY:
--The Black Brant was reported by Simmons S of Monte Vista NWR on the W
side of Hwy 15 on April 2.  She said that a scope was needed to identify
the bird.  On April 5, Nelder reported Black Brant at Monte Vista NWR.  On
April 9, Percival reported Black Brant at Monte Vista NWR.

WASHINGTON COUNTY:
--2 Mountain Plovers, 3 -5 McCown's Longspurs, and 6+ Chestnut-collared
Longspurs were reported by Breitsch on CR KK between CR 20 and CR 19 on
April 1.  On April 5, Mark Miller reported 20 Chestnut-collared and 10
McCown's Longspurs on CR KK and a Mountain Plover at CR KK and CR 20.

WELD COUNTY:
--On April 5, Kaempfer reported McCown's Longspurs at Murphy's Pasture.
--On April 5, Kaempfer reported Chestnut-colllared Longspurs on CR 86 W of
CR 105.
--A Canyon Wren was reported by Mlodinow at Crow Valley Campground on April
6.
--A NEOTROPIC CORMORANT was reported by Mlodinow  at West Windsor Gravel
Ponds on April 6.
--An imm Glaucous Gull was reported by Dowell S of Lower Latham Reservoir
on April 8.
--A Mountain Plover was reported by Leatherman in a fallow field S of the
high school football field in Briggsdale on April 8.
--At CR 86 S of CR 105, Leatherman reported dozens of Chestnut-collared
Longspurs and several McCown's Longspurs.
--A Mountain Plover was reported by Leatherman in a dry play on Hwy 105 S
of CR 86 on April 8.

The DFO Field Trip for Sunday, April 12, will be to Cherry Creek SP
Wetlands led by Karen von Saltza (kvonsaltza AT yahoo.com, 303-942-4881).
Meet at Prairie Loop at Cherry Creek SP at 0830.  This is a half day trip
passing through diverse habitats in three miles.  Trails could be slippery
so dress accordingly.  Bring water and snacks; lunch optional.
State Parks pass or day pass required.  Contact leader or register on-line.
