Passing along some info. Peter Pereira posted a photo to a Cornell Bird Facebook page asking for ID of a Myiarchus flycatcher from Roxborough SP, Douglas Co., and the photo was taken yesterday (11/17/15). Looks more brown-crested than ash-throated (because of back color), but there's just one photo available so far and it is fairly small, even on a large monitor. I'm not saying what it is from this one little image!
We don't know where the bird was actually found, but the bird was perched in a juniper with snow on it. I guess this could be brown-crested from Chatfield Botanical Gardens from a few weeks ago, but who knows. Birds fly. I'm guessing as more info is available, it'll be posted here, but Sean Walters and I wanted to get the word out. Wish I could go looking around!
