Hi all
Sunny weather, low wind and cold temps.  There are about a ~dozen 
observers.  Total of 28 species by my count.
Highlights include:

   - Short-eared Owl - Hwy 85/Weld CR 114 about .5m east in south field 
   (Mark A on way in, "somehow" I missed it in front of Mark A)
   - Eastern Bluebird (4) -- Dover Reservoir (private) at Hwy 85/Weld CR 
   108 (Scott R group)
   - Hermit Thrush -- Dover Reservoir (private) at Hwy 85/Weld CR 108 
   (Scott R group)

Nice to have:

   - Long-eared Owl (4-5) -- Dover Reservoir (private) at Hwy 85/Weld CR 
   108 (Scott R group)
   - Lapland Longspur (2) -- Weld CR 114 about .5m east of Weld CR 37 near 
   residence on south (me and Mark A)
   - Townsend's Solitaire (2) --ARS Bldg on Weld 37 north of Weld CR 114 ()
   
Expected Regulars:  American Kestrel, Horned Lark, Great Horned Owl, 
Ferruginous Hawk, Prairie Falcon, Golden eagle, Western Meadowlark, 
American Crow, European Starling, Common Raven, Bluejay, Red-tailed Hawk, 
Song Sparrow, Northern Flicker, Northern Harrier, American Tree Sparrow, 
Black-billed Magpie, Mallard, Eurasian-collared Dove, Rough-legged Hawk


Next year is the Nunn Christmas Bird Count's 50th Anniversary--group hopes 
to do something special for it--keep Nunn CBC in mind next year.
