Hi, everybody. If you just can't wait till May to bird in and around Lamar,
Prowers County...Don't just stand there, Do something!

The 14th annual High Plains Snow Goose Festival, based out of Lamar, is
upon us. This year's festival will be held February 18-21, and the keynote
speaker is Rick Wright, one of North America's brightest and most
insightful birders. The festival will feature the usual full plate of field
trips, workshops, and more. And here's a thought: You can stop by The Cow
Palace and get first dibs on your room for the CFO convention! Seriously.

Get general info on the Snow Goose Festival here:

CFO is proud to be a sponsor of this year's festival. Speaking of CFO, we
continue to update the CFO convention pages at COBirds.org. The place to go
for updates is the lefthand panel on this page:

http://cobirds.org/CFO/Conventions/Next.aspx

For example, you'll see new information there about reserving your
convention hotel room at a discounted rate.

*See you in Lamar!*--in February, and again, of course, in May.
