COBirders,

A golden swamp warbler was caught and banded at the Bird Conservatory of the
Rockies/Chico Basin Ranch banding station in El Paso County (fee area). It
was captured inside the exclosure in the net lane closest to the large
willow by a small spring.

Also caught was a male Red-naped Sapsucker and a Cassin's Vireo was fussing
in the wooded area. Junco, Song Sparrow, and White-crowned Sparrow numbers
were on the rise. Hermit and Swainson's thrushes were banded.
