Several of us saw the white ibis in the location described by Peter, Eric
and others late in the day yesterday (6/21). The bird flew off to the ne
about 6:15pm, presumably to one of the other ponds mentioned in the early
reporting of this bird. I had not chased white ibis in CO until this one and
am glad I did. Thanks to Zach and Adam for the discovery/early reporting,
respectively. This is mostly meant as both an update and a heads-up to
folks going to see this bird today that IF present, it may "disappear" to its
roosting spot in early evening.
