A Pinyon Jay would be much more unusual at Centennial.

Over the past few weeks in the Ken Caryl and Deer Creek area -- where the
scrub-jay is resident in the oak and scrub habitats -- I have seen some
evidence of movement by Woodhouse's Scrub-Jay, e.g., loose strings of
individuals flying along the hogback ridges (mostly southbound) and
individuals turning up in spots where they are usually absent.
