First seen 11-21-17, the unusual long-staying White-winged Scoter is still
present this morning at Lake Beckwith, Colorado City, SW Pueblo County. It's
hoped that this bird is not sick or injured. It often dives staying submerged
for almost a minute at times, but I've never seen it fly. Wishing good health
to this cooperative Scoter, & the very remote possibility that it stays for the
Lake Isabel CBC, 1-1-18.
