This is a bit off topic, but I wanted to throw out an offer. I just returned from a trip to the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas. For the trip I purchased a Texas state parks pass. If any Cobirders might be heading down that way, I'd be happy to lend it to you- just contact me off list and we can make arrangements. I used it at a lot of the well known spots of the Valley (Estero Llano Grande, Falcon, Resaca de las Palmas, etc.) but I imagine it would be useful elsewhere, too.
