Two colleagues of mine are visiting from Mexico. On Saturday 5/12, they went to Rocky Mountain National Park to do some sightseeing. At Bear Lake, they took some pictures of an owl in a rather odd spot. It's hard to tell size, but the shape suggests Flammulated. I couldn't imagine why any owl, much less a Flammulated, would be almost in the water.
