ARAPAHOE COUNTY:
---On November 26 a Black Scoter was reported by Tanja Britton at South Platte 
Park-South Platte Reservoir.
---On November 20 a Rusty Blackbird was reported by the Tuesday Birders at the 
east edge of the Swim Beach at Cherry Creek SP; it continued through Nov 24.
---On November 24 a Palm Warbler was reported by Christopher Warneke at Eagle 
Watch Lake, which is just east of South Platte Reservoir.  Last reported on 
Nov. 25.

BOULDER COUNTY:
—On November 27 a Blackpoll Warbler was reported by David Suddijian at Oakwood 
Drive in SW Longmont, near the same general area where the Blackburnian Warbler 
notes below had been for the previous 2 weeks.
---On November 15 a Vermillion Flycatcher was reported by Leslie S. at Walden 
Ponds, seen daily through November 25.
---On November 13 a 1st winter Blackburnian Warbler was reported by Scott 
Severs in SW Longmont, near Airport Rd & Dry Creek Greenway.  It continued 
through Nov 22.

DOUGLAS COUNTY:
—On November 27 a lingering Trumpeter Swan was reported by several birders at 
Plum Creek Wetland at W. Titan Rd.
---On November 26 a lingering immature Red-throated Loon was reported by Daniel 
Horton at Chatfield SP.  It is usually best seen from the Lake View parking 
lot, which is between Campground Loops B & C, or from the the N Boat Ramp area.

EAGLE COUNTY:  
---On November 15 a SEDGE WREN was reported by Eric Culbertson at Lake Creek 
Village Wetland, which has continued through November 23. There have been only 
two previous West Slope records on eBird!

GRAND COUNTY:
—On November 27 a SNOW BUNTING was reported by Burke Angstman at Shadow 
Mountain National Recreation In Grand Lake.   

JEFFERSON COUNTY:
---On Nov. 26 a lingering Black Scoter was reported by John Drummond at South 
Platte Park/South Platte Reservoir; Southwest Bay Area.
---On November 24 a Palm Warbler was reported by Glenn Walbek at South Platte 
Park/South Platte Reservoir; Southwest Bay area.
---On November 24 a Palm Warbler was reported by multiple birders at the “Clear 
Creek Trail--Golden to I-70” eBird hotspot.
---On November 23 an adult Trumpeter Swan was reported by Franks Ferrell at the 
Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms, seen again on Nov 24.
---On November 24 the Red-throated Loon found by Joey Kellner at Chatfield SP 
in Douglas County, was also seen in Jefferson County.
---On November 24 a Pine Warbler was reported by Jerry Baines at Denver West 
Office Park.

LA PLATA COUNTY:
---On November 22 a Greater Roadrunner was reported by Sioux Toburen from 
Durango, where it is quite rare.

LARIMER COUNTY:
—On November 27 a HARRIS’S HAWK was reported by a DFO group field trip led by 
David Suddijian at Fossil Creek Reservoir.  It was last reported perched in a 
Cottonwood to the north west of the viewing platform.
---On November 16 and Nov 22 a Black-and-white Warbler was reported by John 
Shenot at Grandview Cemetery, last seen in a mixed species flock in area 9.
—On November 18 an imm Yellow-bellied Sapsucker was reported by David Wade at 
Grandview Cemetery.  Last reported November 26, in Scots Pines on City Park 
Nine golf course just sw of the Trolley House on Mountain Avenue, in elms near 
the old office at the entrance and in elms further west into the cemetery.
---On November 24 a f Northern Cardinal was reported by Steve Martin, SW of 
Wellington.  It has been visiting his feeders for over six weeks. Last reported 
on Nov. 25.  If anyone is interested in trying to see the Cardinal, please 
contact Steve at falconridge AT cowisp.net 

LAS ANIMAS COUNTY:
—On November 24 a Surf Scoter was reported by David Tonnessen at Trinidad 
Reservoir (SP & State Wildlife Area).
—On November 24 a Black Scoter was reported by David Tonnessen at Trinidad 
Reservoir (SP & State Wildlife Area).

PUEBLO COUNTY:
—On November 25 a Northern Parula was reported by Paul Hurtado below the train 
bridge along the Arkansas River Trail downstream of Pueblo City Park.  Easiest 
access is from Reservoir Rd off of Carlile Ave.  Not seen on Nov 26, despite 
multiple birders looking for it.
---On November 15 a juv. Yellow-bellied Sapsucker was reported by Brandon 
Percival at Pueblo City Park, near the admin. building. One or more continued 
through November 23.  
---On November 17 a CAPE MAY WARBLER WAS reported by Brandon Percival & Van 
Truan in Pueblo City Park. It was last reported on Nov. 25.   Most reports have 
been east of the Admin. Building.

WELD COUNTY:
---On November 27 a Long-tailed Duck was reported by Steve Mlodinow at Fredrick 
Reservoir and Recreation Area.
