—-On May 14 a Pine Warbler was reported at Cherry Creek in the woods.
First reported on May 14 by Felice Lyons.


BOULDER COUNTY:

—-On May 13 a Blackpoll Warbler was reported at the Coal Creek Trail,
adjacent to the Marriott Residence Inn, reported by John Grego on the 12th.

—-On May 11 a Golden-winged Warbler was reported at Univ of CO-
Boulder/Varsity Pond Area.  First reported on May 7 by Anna Gilmour.

—-On May 11 a Sagebrush Sparrow was reported along S. 66th St near Marshall
Mesa (Mayhoffer Trailhead.  First reported on May 6 by by Aidan Coohill.


DENVER COUNTY:

—-On May 15 a Black-throated Blue Warbler was reported at Bear Creek
Greenbelt — S. Wadsworth Blvd to S. Sheridan Blvd west of short concrete
bridge over drainage into Bear Creek by Doug Kibbe on the 15th.


EL PASO:

—-On May 16 a Great Crested Flycatcher was reported at Fountain Creek
Regional Park, just west of Rice Pond.  First reported May 9 by Sam Fason.

—-On May 15 a White-eyed Vireo was banded at Clear Springs Ranch banding
station by Steven Brown.


JEFFERSON COUNTY:

—-On May 14 a NEOTROPIC CORMORANT was reported at Robert A Easton Regional
Park. First reported on April 12 by David Suddjian.

—-On May 12 a PRAIRIE WARBLER was reported at Chatfield SP- Audubon Center
& trails.  First reported on May 11 by Sabrina Hepburn.


KIOWA COUNTY:

—-On May 11 a ARCTIC TERN was reported at Neenoshe Reservoir by John
Drummond.

—-On May 11 a Lewis’s Woodpecker was reported in Kiowa County by Tony
Leukering.  According to e-bird this a appears to be a first Kiowa County
record.


LA PLATA COUNTY:

—-On May 15 a NEOTROPIC CORMORANT was reported at Pastorius Reservoir by
Susan Allerton on the 14th.

—-On May 15 a Laughing Gull was reported at Pastorius Reservoir by John
Bregar on the 15th.


LARIMER COUNTY:

—-On May 16 a Gray Flycatcher was reported at Wellington State Wildlife
Area - Cobb Lake Unit by Christian Hagenlocher on the 16th.

—-On May 16 a COMMON GALLINULE was reported from Wellington State Wildlife
Area, first seen by Josh Bruening on April 29. This rarity was at a pond
north of Larimer CR 60 in the Schware Unit. (Note that this is not Morris
Reservoir, which is on the south side of 60).

—-On May 12 a Gray-cheeked Thrush was reported at Watson Lake by David Wade.


LOGAN COUNTY:

—-ON May 12 a EASTERN TOWHEE was reported at Tamarack SWA (south
entrance).  First reported on May 11 by Cheryl Teuton.


PROWERS COUNTY:

—-On May 15 a Yellow-throated Vireo was reported at Lamar Community
College.  First reported on May 6 by James McCall.

—-On May 13 a Painted Redstart was reported at Lamar Community College
(south end).  First reported on May 13 by Dorothy Russell.


PUEBLO COUNTY:

—-On May 14 a Blackburnian Warbler was reported at Chico Basin Ranch at the
HQ willows. First reported on May 13 by John Drummond.

—-On May 12 a Least Bittern was reported at Nepesta Road Marsh by Van Truan.

—-On May 11 a Yellow-throated Warbler was reported at Roselawn Cemetery
(singing in Pine at first entrance) by Evan Carlson.


WASHINGTON COUNTY:

—-On May 12 a probable SWAINSON’S WARBLER was reported at Last Chance Rest
Area (on the porta-potty side; once in gate, straight down the hill in the
thick currents) by Rachel Hopper.


YUMA COUNTY:

—-On May 12 a EASTERN MEADOWLARK was reported southwest of the CR 3 - Hwy
385 intersection by David Dowell.
