COMMON GALLINULE (*Larimer)

Caspian Tern (*Morgan)

Red-headed Woodpecker (*Jefferson)

EASTERN WOOD-PEWEE (*Logan, *Pueblo)

Winter Wren (Boulder)

Prothonotary Warbler (*Routt)

Nashville Warbler (Larimer)

Chestnut-sided Warbler (*Boulder)

Yellow-throated Warbler (Pueblo)



BOULDER COUNTY:

—-On June 11 a singing male Chestnut-sided Warbler was reported from
Bluebell Canyon, 80 yds up McClintock Trail from stone bridge, by Peter
Gent.

—-On June 8 a singing Winter Wren at Rocky Mt. National Park—Ouzel Falls
(40.1968464, -105.5888372) was reported by Joshua Smith.

—-On June 6 a Chestnut-sided Warbler at Garden Acres Park in Longmont
(south of 21st Ave on Spencer St), was reported by Luke Pheneger.


JEFFERSON COUNTY:

—-On June 11 a pair of Red-headed Woodpeckers were reported in the Coal
Creek Open Space, about 2 miles in on the Plainview Rd. First reported by
JoAnn Hackos on June 5.


LARIMER COUNTY:

—On June 11 the COMMON GALLINULE continues at Wellington SWA—Schware Unit.
Present for over a month now, it was first seen by Josh Bruening on April
29 at the pond north of Larimer CR 60. Drive about 1/4 mile east of Morris
Reservoir, at the pond on the east end of hedgerows, on the north side of
the road. Usually it is in the NW corner of the lake, near a drowned tree.


LOGAN COUNTY:

—-On June 10 an EASTERN WOOD-PEWEE was heard and reported at Tamarack SWA
by Pablo Quezada & Gabriel Wiltse.


MORGAN COUNTY:

—-On June 11 (2) Caspian Terns were reported at Brush Prairie Ponds SWA
(Pond #1) by Chuck Hundertmark.


PUEBLO COUNTY:

—-On June 11 a singing EASTERN WOOD-PEWEE was reported from the Arkansas
River Trail, halfway between Pueblo Nature Center & Pueblo Blvd; first seen
by Evan Carlson on June 10.

—-On June 8 a long-staying Yellow-throated Warbler was reported at Roselawn
Cemetery in Blende, near the west entrance off Aspen Street.  Look near the
yellow shed south of the main entrance and also on east side. First
reported on May 11 by Evan Carlson. Updates appreciated.


ROUTT COUNTY:

—-On June 11 a Prothonotary Warbler continues along the Yampa River on the
flotsam behind the Botanic Garden and the Osprey nest; reported by Dave and
Ann Jones on May 22.
