We had our first ever (in 50 years) Clark's Nutcracker pair come to our 
cabin near Meeker Park at 8750 feet, from about Aug. 28 to mid-September. 
One bird learned to get more peanuts in the front yard where we throw them 
by coming to the back window while I washed dishes & pecking on the 
window!
