While looking for the Varied Thrush this morning at Hudson Gardens (Arapahoe County) this morning, I photographed at @ 10:15am, what I initially thought was a Cassin's Finch. Just finished downloading my photos and it appears to be a Purple Finch. Seen in the Cascades area, first with some House Finches and then a couple of minutes later with a small number of A. Goldfinches. I hope it is still there. Didn't see the Thrush.
