On my way to try and find the greater prairie chickens (which didn't
happen), I ran across 24 greater white-fronted geese, 120 snow geese, and
22 or so cackling geese in one of the farmer's fields on country road X
around 7:30 am. The cackling and greater white-fronted were mixed together
right by the road, and the snow geese were just behind them a little
further into the field.
