You guys are awesome! I’m studying all these thrushes; it looks a bit like this
one, a bit like that one, and a bit like a third. It never occurred to me the
bird was a thrasher! I’d thought that thrashers were more southerly birds, but
the CO Breeding Birds Atlas has them nesting in my area. Its been since last
July that I added a new Yard Bird here and now, on this day, I add two more and
a 2nd spot of some Pelicans! I love Colorado bird-watching, you never know what
will show up! Thanks and color me happy 😊 – Dave Hyde/nr. Storm Mtn, Larimer
Cty.
PS. And not only that, I just realized the Sage thrasher is a new Lifer for me 😃

Hello CObirders
After endless snow it warmed up a bit today here near Storm
Mountain. And more birds showed up! Just before noon a flight of White pelicans
flew over fast heading west. Then a little after noon I spotted a Yard Bird
first Brown creeper followed soon by a thrush. I’m not sure which thrush it is
so if anyone can help me i.d. this I will be able to add another bird to my
Yard List. Here’s three photos showing side, front and back views: Thank you -
