Today was quite similar to our previous days here, fairly slow with a
trickle of migrants. We closed a bit early as the wind picked up but almost
got in a full morning of banding. We finished with 8 newly banded birds and
3 recaptures of 10 species total.

Dusky Flycatcher - 1
Orange-crowned Warbler - 1
House Wren - 1
MacGillivray's Warbler - 1
'Mountain' White-crowned Sparrow - 1
Western Kingbird - 1
Spotted Towhee - 1
Northern Mockingbird - 1
American Robin - 2 recaptures from earlier this season
Brown Thrasher - 1 recapture from 9/4/2019

We are open 3 days per week (Friday - Sunday) through May 30th. We'll also
be open Thurs May 20th. Chico Basin Ranch is once again open to the public
and visitors are welcome at the banding station, click here
<https://ranchlands.com/day-visits/birding-wildlife-viewing/> for more
details on visiting. We are opening nets at about 5:40am and continuing for
5 hours, depending on weather.
