CoBirders,

How nice, after living and birding in Colorado for 14+ years to get a State
Life Bird without going out and looking for one that’s been reported!

On my morning walk through Cherry Creek State Park, I stumbled upon a
Loggerhead Shrike sitting calmly atop a mullen. For anyone interested, it was
on the inside corner area where Belleview turns into Peoria, about 100 yards
north of the Boat Storage Yard.

Good birding!
