Today I was able to take the time to oogle some hummingbirds (both Hatch-year Calliopes), which was very exciting. On our second round we also caught a Sharp-shinned Hawk in the net which was fun to show to all of our visitors. We had a total of 42 captures for the day, with Wilson's Warblers still taking the cake on the highest number banded. And thank you to Kara, Virginia, and John for helping me with clips and bird bags on my net rounds! It was highly appreciated.
