It sounds like the last sighting for the Rufous-backed Robin at Denny Lake
in Cortez, Montezuma County is Monday 7 February 2022. Coen and Brenda
couldn't find it on 8 or 9 February 2022. If it has really departed the
area, it did stay quite awhile for many people to see this amazing first
state record for Colorado. First found on 18 January 2022 by Coen Dexter
and Brenda Wright and seen every day through 7 February 2022. Congrats
again to them for finding this first state record and helping many people
see it. Hopefully everyone who saw it has submitted their record on it for
the Colorado Birds Records Committee, so it will be added to the official
Colorado State List.
