Bohemian Waxwings have been showing nicely and enjoyed by many the past two
days in Colorado Springs since their discovery by Steve Getty along South
Cheyenne Canyon Road near the Starsmore Discovery Center. At least 40 were
present this afternoon, along with a few Cedar Waxwings.

I watched them for over an hour late in late afternoon today and would
guess they'll stick around as long as the buckthorn berries they've been
feeding on remain present. (There were still many berries this afternoon.)

GPS coordinates to the location: 38.7881988,-104.8673876

Good birding,

Kip Miller
Colorado Springs
