Hey, everybody.

Tomorrow is the first Sunday of the month, so that means it's time for the
monthly "Lafayette Birds!" outing sponsored by the City of Lafayette.

We get underway tomorrow, Sun., Mar. 5, at 1pm MST at "The Shack" at
Greenlee Wildlife Preserve in Lafayette, Boulder Co. All are welcome; no
experience necessary. We bird in small groups with 1-2 leaders per group,
wrapping up by 3pm. Children, families, and curiosity-seekers welcome.

Looks like we'll have a nice afternoon, with temps pushing 10 degrees
Celsius (50 degrees Fahrenheit) and overcast. Both Bohemian and Cedar
waxwings have been at the preserve & environs in the past week, along with
many waterfowl and a variety of passerines and raptors. Stuff like American
White Pellycan, Cinnamon Teal, and Mountain Bluebird should be showing up
any day now; perhaps tomorrow will be our lucky day.

Hope to see you tomorrow! Again, 1pm at Greenlee Wildlife Preserve.

Ted Floyd
Lafayette, Boulder Co.
