The Barr Lake Birding Festival day turned out to be our biggest day of the
season by far - first day with over 50 new birds (actually, the biggest day
before today was 31 on 9/5). Also lots of human visitors! Thanks to
everyone who came out to enjoy the festivities!

Early migrants (warblers) and late (a White-crowned Sparrow), tiny birds
(Ruby-crowned Kinglet) and big (Common Grackles). Lots to see and enjoy.
Here's the breakdown of the 51 new birds;

Warbling Vireo 1
White-breasted Nuthatch 1
House Wren 2
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 1
Gray Catbird 1
Orange-crowned Warbler 6
Yellow Warbler 3
Wilson's Warbler 31
Lincoln's Sparrow 1
White-crowned Sparrow, Gambel's 1
