It's a burden to maintain a codebase in whatever language. It's a burden to review patches to ensure they really do not introduce regressions. It's a burden to explain the underlying architecture of a software chosen to newcomers. But I'm not talking about the codeflow burden inherently associated to software development. I'm just talking about providing a wider view on coccinelle development to users via a public SCM repo and a commit list first. It's only the first step to maybe have hackers that will provide insightful patches (No warranties, but without it, it will never ever be possible to happen).
