If you express an assignment by putting a ; at the end of it, then the assignment is considered to be the complete statement. More happens here, as there is also a variable declaration.
I would expect that the two assignments should be found and marked together with the affected function calls in my source code example including the fact if the semicolon is used as a C statement delimiter in the discussed places of the filter pattern.
