Dear mathew , Thank u for ur suggestion. In fact , i explored the services idea
first. I was planning to write a Win32 service. ( From u , now i know it is possible
to write Services in vs.net using C# also ) My idea was to keep everything inside
ASP itself. Service is something which can be sensitive to service pack changes etc.
To avoid a dependency to external app, i am aiming to put everything
inside ASP.net ( IIS ). I feel FileSystemWatcher handler from Global class should
work. If everything fails , (like u said ) i will resort to writing services in C#.
