My "Prince" who is 9 months old now still gets very
thrilled to see her visitors. (Yes, the world
revolves around her in her mind.) I keep her on a
leash when company is over. Initially when people
come over she stays in the kitchen behind a little
gate. If they want to see her they pet her while in
the kitchen so she can do her submissive pee thing
(UGH). THen I bring her out on her leash. I usually
sit on the floor with her and hold her if she's too
excited. Eventually she calms down, but only after
everyone pets her. She usually picks the one non-dog
lover visiting as the person she likes the best
though.
Good luck!
