We got Buckeye on 6/6/06 from a breeder. He weighed about 2 lbs 10 oz
when we got him and now he is 4 months old and weighs 4 lbs 10 oz. Not
sure how big he will get. He is the most adorable lil guy in the
world. Our main issue is chewing but its our fault if we let him out
and don't watch him. I am a nurse and work sometimes work 12-14hrs and
so I was worried about getting a puppy. It has worked out well. I
started out with him in his large crate going on puppy pads but he
started shredding them..he always went on them but it was a mess to
clean up. In the last week I got a litter pan with dog litter and that
is going well except he likes to chew that too. I think he will get
over it but he most always goes in the pan.
I am amazed at how friendly he is and he is just a joy to have around!
Just wanted to share my experince. I also wasn't sure when I should
get him groomed and I saw some posts about getting a bad haircut and
would like to avoid that so any tips or pics would be appreciated. I
added some pics of how he looks now.
