I now have a 6 month old cockapoo, who will every now and again go in the house if he has not other choice. What I did when he was 8 weeks was crate train him. When I was at work he was in his crate, when i came home I would take him out to go potty and then bring him right back in after he was done. While we were in the house and I was able to keep an eye on him I would notice the signs of having to go potty and we would immediately go to the door, I would always praise him after he went outside (you can also give treats). When I was not able to watch him, I would put him in his crate and when he came out we immediately went to the door. You can also use a potty command (like outside) so she can go on command. After about a week or 2 he knew that the door was the way to the potty. Remember that they mostly go after they play and sleep, and fairly soon after they eat. As she gets older of course she wont have to go as often.
Hope this helps!!!! Feel free to ask any questions. --- In [email protected], [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > > Hi everyone, > > I just recently purchased a cockapoo. She's the sweetest thing!
