Hi Vicket,
I clean out our cockapoo's eyes boogers every day or so by hand. Generally,
it takes a few days for the eye guck to harden up and stain, so as long as I
don't forget, it's very easy to clean it out. Ellie used to complain when i
cleaned her eyes (literally just pulling the eye boogers off her hair), but
she's very used to it now. If they are stubborn or hard to remove, i will
wet my fingers first.
The stuff that comes off is kinda gross and sticky, make sure you have a
paper towel very close by to wipe it on..
 Good luck!
David
