Oh no, don't tell me that! I'm thinking the ground beef in the fridge is
looking good. LOL

LoL, not sure high protein is great for our arteries, but I suppose if you
go back to the day of the wolf, they weren't eating sweet potatoes, and
peas..I suspect small game (protein) was the food of choice.hence why my Mia
would love to get that little squirrel. I'll try the Solid Gold and see how
she does, then I may have to put her on a low protein diet again if her
stools won't firm up. Wonder if it is a different manufacturer that make
Timberwolf. I just went out the FDA's list of dog food recalls and
Timberwolf wasn't listed. So, what is a consumer supposed to do? Not all
people have infinite amount of time to sit here and research each and every
pet food manufacturer. But, I've seen no indication that Solid Gold was on
any recall list. Guess this is good in and of itself. Well, time to get my
own act in gear. Chat again..

That food has a protein level of 41% higher than any I have seen, in any of
the foods, I know higher protein is for working dogs, the new theory for us
is that higher protein, low carbs is the key to weight loss, looks like they
are trying this for dogs now. I would do more research on it.
