Since mine were puppies I always cooked for them on the weekends. I make
either chop meat or steak for them with brown rice and either peas, broccoli
or
string beans.

During the week they usually get a taste or two of what I'm eating, and that
seems to stimulate their appetite as they will then go over and eat their
dog food.

Supplements I give them a multiple daily along with an anti oxidant, even
with dog foods vitamins lose their potency as it sits.

Yea you will find people that don't this one or that one. I pay little mind
to that. My group loves the bil jac, they liked the Innova which I stopped
because of Mikey and the sensitive stomach, the California Natural used to
be picked out and put on the floor, now I added in the Blue Buffalo to the Bil
Jac and that so far is working.

They get daily treats or should say they demand daily treats, the only one I
have to watch is Buffy because she refuses to be active like the rest, unless
she gets into her chases everyone mode, LOL, the other 3 are on the go all
the time and they stay trim on their own.

Geez, after researching other brands of dog foods, I can’t seem to find a
manufacturer that doesn’t get some horrible reviews one way or another. Does
anyone have any good healthy recipes they use to cook/feed their dogs. Also,
do dogs need supplements if you go to a more “homemade diet”?
