Apart from the things Ken said, I’m struck by the above. So you’re *not* using ‘NSTrackingCursorUpdate’? Are you overriding ‘cursorUpdate:’ or not? While it’s feasible to drive cursor updating from mouse entered/exited events, it’s quite a different problem for several subtle reasons.
