Oh, wow, maybe I have resolved the issue! The Derived Data directory is set to /tmp (i have had that setting for years). Now, in Xcode / Preferences / Locations / Derived Data / Advanced, I set Custom = Relative to Derived Data. (Before , it was set to Absolute.) I have no idea, why it would not do the indexing before, and exactly what the setting "Absolute" means, but it looks like now it's working! Thanks a million to you all! Best regards, Gabriel
