Not unless the application is specifically vending the objects through DO. Mac OS X isn't Windows XP, where every application can access the forms/controllers of every other application, which is a security hole. By default, applications cannot communicate with other applications, with the exceptions of the mandatory open/print/ping/ quit Apple events.
