imageView = [[NSImageView alloc] initWithFrame:NSMakeRect(0, 0, dispBounds.size.width, dispBounds.size.height)];
[imageView setAutoresizingMask:NSViewWidthSizable | NSViewHeightSizable]; window = [[NSWindow alloc] initWithContentRect:dispBounds styleMask:NSBorderlessWindowMask backing:NSBackingStoreBuffered defer:NO]; [window setLevel:kCGDesktopWindowLevel+1]; [[window contentView] setAutoresizesSubviews:YES]; [[window contentView] addSubview:imageView]; This works to create a window into which I draw an image, but clicks on the desktop do nothing to the icons sitting on the desktop. Why? Note that the window is owned by a background process <key>LSUIElement</key> <string>1</string> Thanks, Trygve _______________________________________________ Cocoa-dev mailing list (Cocoa-dev@lists.apple.com) Please do not post admin requests or moderator comments to the list.
