If you've ever put those objects in an associative or hashing container (NSSet, NSDictionary keys, NSHashMap NSHashTable, etc.), you're probably sitting on obscure, hard to find bugs. In general, if you override -isEqual:, you should override -hash. Period. -- Clark S.
