Now I would like to display an alert dialog.Unfortunately, this does not work; it even seems it makes the application hangLSBackgroundOnly apps can connect to the window server, but can't display a UI, IIRC.
Thanks a lot for your response, but I don't quite understand: what do you mean by that?My background-only app has a regular window with title bar and buttons and sliders in them ...
