Okay - so how would I use the bounds? I thought I tried that in my initial
code sample:

if( CGRectContainsPoint([*pointerLayer bounds*], [touch
locationInView:pointerLayer] )){

or is that part correct and the [touch locationInView:pointerLayer.view] be
correct?

Thanks,
Eric
