I've sent Joar the source off list, but meanwhile I tried Kyle Sluder's suggestion to run gdb on the app. Here's the log:

In the app itself I get an authorization failed error. I don't know what this error is or what it means. What I do know is that the exact same code, in Debug mode, or even in Release (when launched from Xcode) works fine. Is it possible that this is a bug with NSURLConnection?
