Weird. You should be able to issue as many requests as you want, and CFNetwork will reuse a pool of connections for them. Perhaps this has something to do with issuing synchronous requests? Most people use the async form. You may get better replies on the macnetworkprog list, which is where several Apple networking gurus hang out. —Jens
